Frances E. Willard Birthday Party

Willard BirthdayOn September 26th, 2014, Willard students celebrated Frances E. Willard's 175th birthday. An early temperance and suffrage leader, Willard was instrumental in the passage of both the Eighteenth (prohibition) and Nineteenth (women's right to vote) Amendments.
Willard's students had the pleasure today of listening to the current president of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union speak about Willard's life. What a great opportunity!
