This past week the Willard Student Council hosted their annual canned food drive. Our students absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark this year! They donated 3629 canned and non-perishable items! These kids never cease to amaze us with their generosity and care for the community. We would like to give a big shout out to our student council for all of the work they put into counting, organizing, and boxing up all of those items. Great work Warriors!
Javion was last week's Caught Card Winner! Javion was caught by Mrs. Acker for helping a classmate with his lunch when he needed assistance. Javion took the initiative to do this without being asked. Thanks so much for your willingness to help others. We are proud of you, Javion! Javion won a gift certificate to House of Flavors! Thanks HOF for your continued support of our students and the community!

Anthony was last week's "caught card" winner. Anthony was caught by Mrs. Johns. Anthony took the initiative to help our custodian clean up paper towels that other students had thrown on the floor. Thanks for taking pride in our school and being such a great Willard family member! We appreciate you, Anthony! Anthony won a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut. Thank you again Pizza Hut for supporting our students and community!
Here are our Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest winners! The judging was tough this year with so many great entries! We are continually blown away by the creativity of our students!
Jacquelyn was our Caught Card winner from last week. Jacquelyn was nominated by Mrs. Johns for "helping students learn how to do a math lesson on fraction tiles when they were struggling." Thanks so much for taking the extra time to help out your classmates. This act of kindness was not overlooked! Jacquelyn won a free kids meal certificate from El Carreton. Thank you El Carreton for supporting our students and providing such an excellent restaurant for our community! Enjoy your meal, Jacquelyn!

Izayiah is last week's "Caught Card" winner. Izayiah was caught by Mrs. Nolen for " helping a classmate understand how to multiply two by two digit numbers". Thank you for caring about your classmates and taking the initiative to help a fellow Warrior in need of assistance. Izayiah won a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut. Again, we appreciate the support that Pizza Hut has provided for this program and their willingness to invest in our students! Enjoy your pizza, Izayiah!
We got way behind on celebrating our "Caught Winners" so this will be a long post! Before Fall Break we drew 2 caught card winners. Our first winner was Laura! Laura was caught "trying to make sure everyone was being included during an activity in gym class." Laura received a pass to watch a movie at the Towne Square Cinema! Thank you for being so kind and considerate, Laura!
The second winner for October 10th was Serenity. Serenity was "caught" picking up all the stray equipment that was left out at recess. Thank you for taking pride in our school and working to keep things nice! We appreciate your initiative so much! Serenity won a free order of breadsticks from Chicagos Pizza!

**Crabtree Photography will be taking yearbook portraits on October 18th (Tomorrow) for those that were not available on the original day or in need of a retake. This is also a great time to order Portraits from the original Photo Day if you missed your first opportunity.

Click on your cart and complete the check-out process.
During check-out, enter your students first, last name and grade. This is how we will match the photo to your order.
You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order. If you do not, please call the Crabtree Photography office (765) 747-6971 to check the status of your order.
There's no need to bring any paperwork with you on photo day! When you receive the email confirmation, we have received your order!
Online ordering is OPEN NOW, and will be 48 hours after photo day! After the 48 hours, your order may be subject to a $15 lab fee.
