Izayiah is last week's "Caught Card" winner. Izayiah was caught by Mrs. Nolen for " helping a classmate understand how to multiply two by two digit numbers". Thank you for caring about your classmates and taking the initiative to help a fellow Warrior in need of assistance. Izayiah won a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut. Again, we appreciate the support that Pizza Hut has provided for this program and their willingness to invest in our students! Enjoy your pizza, Izayiah!
We got way behind on celebrating our "Caught Winners" so this will be a long post! Before Fall Break we drew 2 caught card winners. Our first winner was Laura! Laura was caught "trying to make sure everyone was being included during an activity in gym class." Laura received a pass to watch a movie at the Towne Square Cinema! Thank you for being so kind and considerate, Laura!
The second winner for October 10th was Serenity. Serenity was "caught" picking up all the stray equipment that was left out at recess. Thank you for taking pride in our school and working to keep things nice! We appreciate your initiative so much! Serenity won a free order of breadsticks from Chicagos Pizza!

There's no need to bring any paperwork with you on photo day! When you receive the email confirmation, we have received your order!
Online ordering is OPEN NOW, and will be 48 hours after photo day! After the 48 hours, your order may be subject to a $15 lab fee.

Liam is our "caught card" winner for this week. Liam was caught being awesome by Mrs. Winkle. Liam jumped right in to help when a friend's yo-yo fell apart. The classmate was getting very frustrated and Liam was able to fix the yo-yo and help his friend calm down. Liam won a free blizzard from Dairy Queen. We would like to give a shout-out to Dairy Queen for donating several different gift cards to the school for our "caught card" initiative. Thanks so much for helping us celebrate our students! This upcoming week (9/25-9/29) is WCHS Homecoming. We are excited to cheer the Falcons on to a victory. Here are the dress up days for this week! You will notice that there are 2 options on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We have incorporated those options as part of College Go Week. It is completely up the student/family on which theme they would like to choose each day. Good luck Falcons!
It's almost Fall Festival time! Our community partners are set up and hot dogs are on the grill! We can't wait to enjoy the evening with our Willard families. We will be here from 5:30-7:30 tonight! Don't forget, the event is completely free and 2 of our students will be taking home new bicycles. See you soon!

Tomorrow (9/21) is the Willard Family Fall Festival. We are so excited to spend the evening having fun and sharing a meal with our students and their families. This event will take place from 5:30-7:30 PM and will be located in the yard, east of the school. We will have food, games with prizes, crafts, story reading, and 2 lucky Willard students will walk away with new bicycles! Thanks to the efforts of our community partners, this event is completely free of cost to our students and their families! We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Note: Students must have at least 1 adult with them in order to attend this event.
Andrew is our "caught card" winner for this week. Andrew was caught being awesome by Mrs. Baldwin (Mel). Andrew took the initiative to help our custodial staff with a problem that he didn't even create! Andrew won a free entry to watch a movie at the Towne Square Cinema. We would like to give a big shout out to Towne Square Cinema for their willingness to invest in our students. Willard regularly takes groups to the cinema for incentives and class trips. They are always very accommodating and work hard to create great experiences for our students! Enjoy your movie, Andrew! Thanks for being awesome!
