COMMENCEMENT NEWS
GRADUATING SENIORS: The Senior Breakfast will be held on Friday, June 4 @ 9:30 AM in the commons, The class DVD will be shown at about 10:15 AM with Commencement practice beginning at 10:45 AM on the Football Field. Please be certain to bring your cap/gown for a class photo. This practice is MANDATORY for any senior going through the ceremony.
Commencement will be on Saturday, June 5 at 10:00 AM on the football field. Seniors should arrive at 9:15 AM in the commons dressed appropriately.
There is not a limit to the number of guests who may attend. Spectators will sit in the bleachers or may choose to bring a camp chair and be seated on the track. Inclement weather will move the ceremony to the fieldhouse with a 6 guest limit per graduate.
We look forward to honoring all of our graduates!
BACCALAUREATE, sponsored by the WCHS FCA will be held on Thursday, June 3 @ The Winchester Nazarene Church at 7:00 PM. We hope to see you there!
SENIOR HONOR NIGHT
Just a reminder: Those students who received letters to attend tonight's Senior Honor Night should arrive in the Commons at 6:40 PM to line up to enter the auditorium for the 7:00 PM program. All seniors will be seated on the stage and should be dressed appropriately. There is not a limit to the number of guests who may attend. Masks should be worn until seated and spectators should be seated socially distanced from other families. Seniors will be recognized for Honors Diplomas, Governor's Work Ethic Certificates, National Honor Society, Armed Forces Recognition, and College and Local/Community Foundation Scholarships received.

The WCHS Jazz Band is playing at Goodrich Park tonight at the amphitheater!
Received a $10,000 check for Falcon Industries and our precision machining department from the Gene Haas Foundation. Thank you to Mr. Brian Clawson for securing this grant to purchase needed tools and supplies!
Sectional Track
Last night the Boys Track team traveled to Muncie Central. Top finishers for the Falcons were Dylan Sanders (5th in Shot Put), Gage Patterson (6th in 800m), Jamison Beashers (7th in 110 Hurdles), and Jorge Vasquez (8th in 200m). Congratulations to all!

The Randolph County Health Dept. will be offering a Pfizer vaccine clinic on Monday May 17th, at the health department. This clinic will be for 12-17 year olds. They are doing this from 9a-5p. and only have 60 doses. Later today people will be able to register on ourshot.in.gov.
Larry Fast is presenting to our precision machining and welding students today. It is awesome to have an expert from the manufacturing industry!
