Willard Reminders: -Wednesday's early dismissal schedule has changed. Beginning tomorrow, students will now be dismissed at 2:25 on Wednesdays rather than 2:10. Please plan accordingly to pick up or receive your child. -Mum sale pick up is this Saturday, Sept. 18th from 10-12 in our back lot.

Willard Grade 3 & 4 Families... Yesterday, your child should have brought home an orange paper about the 529 College Saving Account program through Promise Indiana Randolph County. This is an easy and free way to sign your child up for a savings account that they can use for future college expenses. If you sign your child up, they will receive $25 free money in their savings account and will be able to participate in our Piggy Bank drive in November. Again, that's FREE MONEY FOR YOUR CHILD! Directions to sign up are on the paper, as well as answers to common questions. We have extended the sign up date to September 30th. Feel free to contact the Willard office if you have questions. This Wednesday, September 1st, is FALL PICTURE DAY at Willard. Pictures may be purchased by returning the picture form with money -or- you can order online by visiting: http://crabtree-photography.hhimagehost.com/WillardElementaryFallUnderclass2021 Online ordering is open now, and will be until 48 hours after photo day! After the 48 hours, your order may be subject to a $15 lab fee. Go Warriors!

Willard family...we have recently seen a few broken Chromebooks here in our office. This is a friendly reminder that school offered insurance for your child's Chromebook is available for $15. We strongly recommend buying insurance as it covers your child's Chromebook in the event it is accidentally damaged. If you do not have insurance on the device, you will be responsible for paying the full amount to have the damaged device fixed. Please call or stop by the Willard office if you would like more information or to sign up for Chromebook insurance.

Willard Elementary School is actively seeking applicants to join our family as a Librarian/Media Specialist. Applicants should have a passion for working with children, a willingness to learn, and an ability to work well with others. This is a non-certified position and requires a high school diploma. The Winchester Youth Football Program is hosting a football camp this Thursday and Friday, July 29th and 30th, for all kids in grades K-6 at Falcon Field. The cost for the two days of camp is $10 and every camper will receive a t-shirt.
